I don't write this as a journalist but as a student. The point is to widen my own knowledge: what a small independent maker actually does, where an old house really came from, and how the mechanics under the dial work. Whatever comes together along the way gets written down here, so it's legible to someone else too.
Three pieces a week, one per column: In Hand, Origins, Movement. No release-day scramble, no hype, no guessing about the next reference. The object is the subject, not the news cycle.
Accuracy in the research is not negotiable. If a claim has no verifiable source behind it, I either mark it as uncertain or leave it out. Sources are listed at the end of each piece.
The journal runs in Hungarian and English. Now and then I write about prices too: which watches hold their value and which don't. Rarely, and always with real numbers.
