I write as a student, not as a journalist. The point is to widen my own knowledge: what a small independent maker does, where an old house came from, and how the mechanics under the dial work. Whatever comes together gets written down here, so it becomes legible to someone else too.
Three pieces a week: In Hand on Monday, Origins on Wednesday, Movement on Friday. The object is the subject, not the news cycle. The release calendar separately follows officially announced watches.
If a claim has no verifiable source, I either mark it as uncertain or leave it out. Sources are listed at the end of every piece. Photographs carry their own credits.
The journal is available in Hungarian and English. The same stories, and the same curiosity.
